No wonder foreigners think Britain = London. Our economy is so skewed. The manufacturing is 200 miles away on the M62 corridor (200 miles is a long way btw. :) Or the eponymous "Hello London!" from an American singer walking out on stage in Manchester. And when you have ourprimary airport (Heathrow)) owned by a foreign investment vehcile, there is no incentive for a unified economic policy too distribute trafficc - instead massive lobbying for a 4th runway.. end of polemic :)
