I've been buying movies / seasons on Apple TV.
No ads and I "own" it. I read somewhere that if Apple cut me off, they'd have to refund all those purchases.
But even better is buying a DVD set and ripping it. What a pain, but at least you never have to make a deal with this particular devil.
- Cypher 3y agoYou're better off buying physical. Amazon can and do replace/modify/update the versions of your online media.
- loloquwowndueo 3y agoYou “own” it lol. I hope you read the contract and confirmed the “I’ll get my money back” part - because others have done the “sorry, you no longer have access to your purchases and you’re also not getting a refund” trick. I don’t think Apple is beneath that if they can get away with it.
