I didn’t know the rocket equation was that sensitive. I guess if you wanted to travel to space on a larger planet, you would have to have platforms in the atmosphere suspended with balloons and move material higher and higher.
- kolinko 3y agoPlatforms don't change much. It's the velocity that matters, not height. In other words - launching rockets from 100km above the ground wouldn't change much in terms of how much fuel you need.
