Why not just throw in a DC/DC converter from 48 to 12V? You need protection anyway (so that failure won't take down your whole 48V microgrid) and perhaps even m

Why not just throw in a DC/DC converter from 48 to 12V? You need protection anyway (so that failure won't take down your whole 48V microgrid) and perhaps even management.
