Well, bulshit, and what's worse, completely opposite to ecology. Enormous areas ow wired land divided by service roads with hundreds of thousands of vehicles on it: this is TW solar energy real shape.imagine then massive burnout of such panels ( sooner or later - it will happen)
Two or there nuclear plants van do it within 0.1% of area and a lot more control over facilities.
- hef19898 3y agoWell, we installed around 400+ GW in 2023, depeding on sources. And you are off by an order of magnitide: The largest NPP has all of 8.2 GW...
- tigershark 3y agoYou are completely wrong. You don’t need only 2 or 3 nuclear power plants. You would need to build again the total global nuclear capacity ever built only to balance the 413GW of solar deployed just this year. Nuclear is dead, whoever says otherwise doesn’t know anything about the current energy market or is in denial.
