Thanks. Our devices are full linux computer with touchscreen mostly kiosk device where a customer interract with the screen. I find that the codebase is very messy, they are lot's of moving parts and it's hard to achieve quality results. I am thinking of building a next version of our system and I am shopping for a solid tech stack that won't let me down. On the server it's a MQTT, fastapi + mongodb + vuejs (for the admin). I am wondering if I add redis to dispatch the event in a realtime fashion. On the other hand I am contemplating building it all with nodeRed (client and server) scrap all the other bits and pieces and only add redis, mongo or postgres for persistance.
