- haltist 3y ago100%. The singularity is almost here and having people that can self-fertilize like flowers is just an added bonus.
- mewpmewp2 3y agoSame. I think life is about trying to find out what's behind all this, and the fastest way to that is to have as much help as we can.
- haltist 3y agoTell all your friends about the "panoptic computronium cathedral"™. Its creation would accelerate all of these developments and others that no one can even imagine. All I need is $80B.

- haltist 3y agoLots of GPUs and then magic happens. It's well known by now that AI has emergent properties even though it's just a bunch of floating point arithmetic so the plan is to scale up the emergence by monitoring everything 24/7 in the panoptic computroinum chathedral and letting gradient descent handle the rest. The limiting factor is the hardware (monitoring and learning), hence why I need $80B. OpenAI is a chatbot company and they're worth $100B so my price is a bargain deal for accelerating AGI and the singularity.
- mewpmewp2 3y agoI am considering it, and I am talking to my friends, but I do need a powerpoint presentation to be able to go on from here. I understand myself that it is a bargain, but I don't have the full money myself.
