We tried that, didn't work
- jauntywundrkind 3y agoI'm glad to have this article to cite, such a snarky takedown of people who have so little to offer. By all means, if you have something we can review to draw our own conclusions from, share that! But I find so many overwhelmingly negative online voices that swear they tried this or that & that it won't ever work. Ran into a gent who reassured again and again that his team had done everything possible to milk a Xeon Phi for performance but that it wasn't ever good for anything. I think he's not even wrong, but the whole epoch of time had few real stories escape from it, and just taking him at word that "the team" (who?) tried everything (what?) and that it couldn't be made to work kind iconifier the form of naysaying negativity that I most detest running into.
