That’s interesting. I only watched the first Matrix on DVD I was too young for theatrical. It was an amazing experience to watch it projected in our living room. I can’t say anything about what the theatrical Matrix looked like since I didn’t watch it, but the Color’s are so garish and over the top on the 4k, I really struggle to believe that was 100% the original look. 35mm film just doesn’t look like that in my experience.
