Ah that makes sense. I had the original release and watched it first in DVD - it was the first DVD I ever watched, and it blew me away. I struggle to believe that the 4K restoration matches the theatrical, but I never saw it. But the Colors in it are so digital and garish, I don’t see how that would been how the 35mm film stock would have looked. Now I’m interested in finding out.
