- m463 3y agoThe article says they used the GPL linux kernel, modified it and distributed binaries without providing the sources. This is a GPL violation. I don't know if they can sue on behalf of the copyright holders of the kernel, that might be another question.
- enslavedrobot 3y agoThe article also falsely claims that Tesla software is faulty and killing people. Which is not what the software update recall was about. The recall was an over the air update that increased the nag frequency of the lane keeping assist. Of note other brands such as Kia have no nags or warnings while lane keeping is on but no action has been taken to initiate a recall.
- 20after4 3y agoI have a 2021 Hyundai (same manufacturer as Kia) and it definitely has a nag for lane keeping.
