- cratermoon 3y agoInteresting tidbit from the story about the timeline: NASA is only behind schedule if you accept that they could just lop 4 years off the project because the guy in charge said to. If they launch in 2027, as the story posits, that's just a year earlier than 2028, the original goal date before March 2019. That was when the then-president ordered the agency to "speed up" and launch in 2024.
