RPi4 running DietPi, with a 1TB USB drive, all strapped to the back of the TV. Syncthing for backing up phone media, Hugo for my blog posts, HomeAssistant for my ZigBee devices, Jellyfin for my media stack which network mounts my Synology NAS (auto wake/suspend), Moonlight client to game in the living room with PlayStation six axis controller, private git. All reverse proxied behind a CG-NAT to a single public IP4 VM I pay maybe 10€ / year for.
- bueny 3y agoHow did you implement auto wake/suspend for your Synology NAS?
- tetris11 3y agoIn the settings of Synology you can tell it to autosleep after X mins and to wake on LAN activity. You can have an NFS mounted on your Pi, and it will wake up the device as soon as you try to access the mount.
- gaws 3y ago> RPi4 running DietPi > Jellyfin for my media stack How does it handle transcoding television and movies? I had a similar setup, and my RaspPi slowed to a crawl because it couldn't handle 1080p videos.
