I've been recently fascinated about having an AI copilot in my brain. Whenever I am receiving information or thinking about something to say, it automatically completes the missing pieces in my chain of thoughts.
But just as I wrote this out, a feeling of fear is coming out as strong as my excitement about what the world could be with this technology widely adopted.
- empyrrhicist 3y agoJust look at how easily people are programmed by media, and how that programming works best when playing on primal fears and hatred. Heck, with a brain implant you might not even need to get in via information - just use a reward response like a pet training clicker and steer.
