having spent an unreasonable amount of time hacking on yaml for… well… no reason… this tickles me endlessly. and im not surprised that he / they gave up on YAML. honestly i feel like half of this project is just flexing ridiculous syntax YAML hacks, and im here for it.
if he happens to see this: wtf is up with YAML anchor syntax, man? who in their right mind is like “hmm i just loved typing that key name in, i wanna do it right next to the original one”? so good they named it twice. xP
i actually hacked in a custom tag that lets you !ref <path> instead, which… i’m not saying it’s better, but… it’s definitely not worse xD. i have been having fun, though. i guess.
