In nursing homes, VR is a hit. Is that a good thing?

- wilg 3y agoI love that the headline needs a negative angle to sell ads. The negative things mentioned in the article: old people might have a hard time with the privacy policy and there might be a labor shortage coming up that would make it hard for caretakers to teach old people how to use VR (?!).

- GuardianCaveman 3y agoMy favorite app on oculus store was designed for nursing home people i think, alcove. It's free too. I wondered if there were actually people using it in those situations and I'm glad to see there are and people's lives are improved.
