Even if iMessage were available for android that situation wouldn’t be fixed because iMessage can be disabled on iPhones and you’d have to use the iMessage app anyways, but if you’re willing to do that, why not just use one of the dozens of apps already available? I honestly find it baffling you would even care what phone the other person has to the point you’d avoid texting them because they have an iPhone for example.
