I strongly agree that non-experts in HN comments write as if they are experts. Without some sort of upvote counter, it becomes hard to distinguish confident bullshit from expertise. Certain individuals are prolific bullshitters too. I’d read a questionable comment and notice it’s the same person. (My observation is general, not specific to this topic)
