Focus on a specific domain or specialization rather than “data science” as a whole. The idea that you can make a career out of knowing some pandas and scikit-learn has been dead for some time. Rather: what industry do you want to work in? What specific part of the data/ML ecosystem do you want to add value to?
- Raman_Thakur 3y agoOkay, thanks for clarifying. However, the challenge is that I hail from India, and here, getting a job as a fresher in data science is a little difficult. Most companies prefer candidates with experience unless they are from a "top-tier university", which I am not :/. So, I need to learn the basics from each domain. But, I am scared that by doing this, I might become a jack of all trades and master of none lol. Any advice on this?
