i think the idea of patent is to share knowledge needed to reproduce the invention. pitty that this is mostly unenforced.
- kevindamm 3y agoA significant portion of inventors, especially the employed kind, will quite intentionally not read up on patents in order to avoid the risk of triple damages. Patents serve to inform the lawyers more than the inventors, at least in the US in modern day and I suspect elsewhere too.
