- superchroma 3y agoThis matches the style used in automated mining vehicles in some jurisdictions where they have a blue light that is on when they are being automated.
- simne 3y agoIn exUSSR only orange lights used in automatic vehicles. Blue/Red are reserved for emergency services and police.

- aneutron 3y agoWell they could, but retrofit your Honda Jazz all you want, you will be getting pulled over if you're watching a movie on the tablet you're hanging from the windshield.
- LeafItAlone 3y agoOn an obviously old car, correct, but on newer looking cars, it might not be worth the hassle to pull them over. Unless there is a way of tying it to the license plate that the police cameras scan, it’s soon going to make it hard to make sure each officer is aware of the specific models. Which means some officers will probably choose to ignore anything with these lights and some may choose to pull over vehicles even with clearance.
- simne 3y agoThis will be sure prohibited. Only possible if your model will got level 3 autopilot, which now have only few models on market (Tesla's only have level 2 officially).
- simne 3y agoThese lights meaning, MANUFACTURER will be responsible in case of any issues, caused by autonomous driving vehicle.
- simne 3y agoVery original. In exUSSR, flashing blue lights used by officials or emergency services. Any way, this is huge leap, to admit, automatic driver is other.
- simne 3y agoPeople, read careful: these lights meaning, MANUFACTURER will be responsible in case of any issues, caused by autonomous driving vehicle. This is like old weird regulations for automobiles, required guy with red flag pass before automobile. Now, for Tesla's autopilot 2nd level, driver fully responsible and MUST carefully look for machine to not doing bad. But with 3rd level, OFFICIALLY machine is accepted to drive without human supervise, only exception these blue lights.
