It’s not insane at all. You’re all whining but you’ve never requested a physical copy of these wills. If you’re willing to store hundreds of millions of individual physical documents for eternity, free of charge then feel free to pipe up. I’m sure they’d be willing if you have the means to do so. But you don’t. So you want us to spend billions pointlessly keeping a warehouse full of documents nobody ever reads. When it’s trivial to just scan them in enough quality that you would never need them.
