i would like to insert a step 0, no version control whatsoever, which is what currently happens with the vast majority of VBA, and its top contender for replacement, Power Automate.
- avmich 3y agoI would like also to add what happened after git. Since git isn't the last word in the version control area, it would be useful to put git into perspective.
- fbdab103 3y agoI truly hope so, but there is so much momentum that it is going to be tough to topple. Any competitor which does not offer a git compatibility interface is dead on arrival. I dislike git for many reasons, but to get people to change is going to take a big "thing" that git cannot do. Incremental improvements are not going to justify the switching cost.
