Software Is Beating the World
- Log_out_ 3y agoMore like triggering a massive allergic reaction of society to capitalism going all in on "mafia with chips".
- karmakaze 3y ago> Editor’s Note: Due to the length of this piece, you may need to click a button to read the whole thing in your email. That's a new low. The "whole thing" is accurate as what's visible is nothing, only mentioning another post and nothing about what the email might say. As if it wouldn't fit on a web page... And the irony of saying that the referenced blog post was "very long and thoughtful" in contrast to this.
- panny 3y ago? I read the whole thing on the linked page. I would not be surprised if you had to click a button in his email newsletter to read it, given how ridiculously restrictive most mail hosts are now with their spam filters.
- karmakaze 3y agoThe whole page appears for me now too. There may have been a problem with my browser/mouse that prevented showing/scrolling the page earlier. Couldn't the 'press a button' notice only be included in emails?
- panny 3y agoThis was a great indictment of asshole tech and VC tech bros in general. I'm reminded of days when these VCs funded apps to sell your metered parking space to the highest bidder.

- ETH_start 3y agoThis is making very bold claims — that cast certain people under a very bad light — based on huge leaps of speculation. For example the claim that the piece makes: that startups failing at a high rate is an undesirable state of affairs, is an incredibly tenuous one for which strong counter-arguments exist. The overall tone resembles demagogic 'yellow journalism'.
