  There was this "Child Tax Credit" during the pandemic: https://www.whitehouse.gov/child-tax-credit/ https://www.whitehouse.gov/child-tax-credit/ It sounds like you might have missed out on it due to not knowing about it, which would be unfortunate.

    Tax credits aren't very helpful when, as the parent post noted, they had to quit their job to stay home.
