I wanted to set up a security camera to watch my pets when I was gone. The only requirements were that it had to have iPhone app, and I wanted the video to stream from my home network and not be funneled through a cloud provider. I couldn't find anything that did what I wanted, beyond a bunch DIY solutions which I did not have the time or energy to implement.
