I would disagree, tons of people out there develop backend code targeting Linux but do so on macOS machines. That said, this was not a particular jab at your comment, more like a clarification for readers, as a lot of people are somehow under the belief that Docker for Mac involves no VM (the other belief being that containers themselves are somehow lightweight VMs)
