- fancy_pantser 3y agoIf that's a typo and they meant to say "AI", then I may be remembering the article(s) being alluded to: > AlphaTensor discovered algorithms that outperform the state-of-the-art complexity for many matrix sizes. Particularly relevant is the case of 4 × 4 matrices in a finite field, where AlphaTensor’s algorithm improves on Strassen’s two-level algorithm for the first time, to our knowledge, since its discovery 50 years ago. https://towardsdatascience.com/how-deepmind-discovered-new-ways-of-multiplying-matrices-using-ai-a04557e9f861 https://towardsdatascience.com/how-deepmind-discovered-new-w... https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-022-05172-4 https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-022-05172-4
- Sharlin 3y agoIf I had to guess, I'd say it's a Frenchism ("Intelligence artificielle").
- logtempo 3y agoCould be spanish too :)
