This sounds great. I personally like to use SyncThing/MobiusSync to sync my devices, then I use Okulus or KyBook to read. It’s a bit clunky but only because Apple is a closed system.
- forbiddenvoid 3y agoSyncThing looks like exactly what I want for things like this, rather than a bunch of self-hosted web apps. Why self-host when you can p2p? (A little tongue-in-cheek. Clearly there are use cases for both.)
- otachack 3y agoAgreed. If the library of data, ebooks in this case, is owned by the user via files then it seems P2P is the way to go.
