It was a really jarring moment when I forgot my phone a couple weeks ago. I listened to FM radio for the first time in years. The oldies station. The one my mom listened to all the time that played a mix of Big Band, Doo-wop, and some 60s rock.
But what I heard was Smells Like Teen Spirit.
- macshome 3y agoYeah. Life comes at you fast doesn’t it? My son, who is 17, said that they were talking about “the late 1900s” in class the other day and I could almost feel my body turning into dust.
- agentultra 3y agoI work with people half my age now. Some of them have bigger titles than me. And they couldn't tell you what an AT command or a segmented memory address is. I am practically the crypt keeper.
