- twelvechairs 3y agoHe's from Fife. Doubt any of those made it there at the time, or probably since Monk wasn't widespread popular at the time at all - only in niche jazz circles. It'd be about as exotic as you could hope to maybe hear Billie Holiday in somewhere like Fife.
