Documentaries often have agendas that are at odds with their subject. If you can't show drug users in their worst light should you also not be able to show politicians in their worst light?
- haswell 3y agoI don’t see how the two are related. Different situations, different ethical considerations and expectations.
- nox100 3y agoIt's a response to this claim > documentarians also focus on respecting their subjects plenty of documentarians do no such thing. In fact they make documentaries specific because they don't respect their subject.
