I have plenty of things to criticise about frameworks, but this submission isn't really about frameworks - it's supposed to be a parody about certain enterprise design patterns. I think the joke's a bit stale by now, but it's true that sometimes you do find quite convoluted and overengineered patterns on the JVM (though not nearly as often as jokes would have us believe). I'll add that I think that the joke about killing your ex-girlfriend is in really poor taste.
