Tables Beta Update and FAQ

• breadwinner 3y ago
This was going to be their Airtable compete. Now they have "no plans to bring the Tables beta to GA as-is." AppSheet database is offered as alternative but it is no Airtable.

FWIW AppSheet (just?) added it's own native database, so it is a little closer to Airtable.

Tldr > Table’s features and capabilities are now integrated into AppSheet, our no-code platform. > We’ll continue to maintain Tables but will not be adding new features to the product.

It was a subpar alternative compared to Airtable, Retable, Baserow etc. It could have a native integration vs embedded into Appsheet and Appsheet team won the business decision.
