Mine has not broken yet, I wonder if they do anything weird like heavy duty crypto mining with them that causes the failure

  This is about the physical weight of the cards bending the pcie slot.

    Yeah, but if you run the card continuously at 100%, the circulating electrons in the card will weight it down! :-)

      I thought it was the electrons knocking on sharp-cornered traces causing it to rattle.
