Maybe general browser? I'm not using Chrome for casual browsing, only for development. And using Safari for everything. So why only limiting question to Chrome? And define 'safe', for me recently it started including mental safety. This case it is AdBlock and Baking Soda + Vinegar. Plus recently got tired of ux in azure portal and made Refresh Button Worshiper. Ah and for infosec I'm not using any specific malware detection stuff.
