trusting a phone call means a whole lot more than trusting your phone's hardware. calling somebody lets you recognize their voice, mannerisms, personal knowledge, etc. spoofing that is many degrees more advanced than getting some spyware onto a phone that can intercept keys.
- 1vuio0pswjnm7 3y agoIf it's someone the person has never talked to before how would the person recognise voice, mannerisms, personal knowledge, etc. Why might someone trust a phone number more than trusting an IP address. Is the network qualititatvely different. Is it easier to "steal/take over a domain name or a server" than to "steal/take over a phone number or a phone". What if someone can do both.
