This is a ban on government employees, not regular people. Still interesting, but the headline seems a bit hyperbolic.
- halJordan 3y agoIt's the same as when the US govt was banning TikTok. Govts are allowed to decide what's on their stuff. Now ofc there's a gulf between how the usg integrates with the us economy and how the prc integrates with the Chinese economy. When the prc virtue signals like this it often pays to be a fast follower.
