- mlrtime 3y agoI've done the same bargining speaking Cantonese in HK and Hindi in India. I personally don't like it. There is a foreigner tax on everything , sometimes you pay 10x the amount that locals do. I haven't come across this in America ever. (Except in NYC where it doesn't matter which language, as everyone gets equally gouged).
