- Adamantcheese 3y agoNot exactly what I was thinking of, because that's more on a local system than at web scale. Something else, I'm sure it's related though, kinda like a crowd crush?
- cratermoon 3y agothundering herd really only happens at 'web scale', whatever that means. There was an article on HN recently showing how even a distributed/replicated system can fall to the thundering herd.
