Somehow we're to blame the Democrats because they didn't compromise enough on their morals? No, the conservatives knew they were in the wrong, and went ahead because they were unwilling to compromise on their morals. Yet somehow it is the other side that should be willing to do so, and when they don't, fault them. Absurd.
