I don’t allow people to use the “just” word when talking to me about my projects. It minimizes the effort that is sometimes required to understand or accomplish something. This is particularly problematic when there’s a difference of skill or knowledge. Remember that what seems simple to the master seems impossible to the student. That’s sort of the definition of mastery. If the master wishes to teach, perhaps they should avoid causing emotional injury to the student.
