- timthelion 3y agoIn my experience it is less that 1 minute but may not be zero downtime...
- paulryanrogers 3y agoIs that true for major and minor Pg versions? Last I checked it's only true for patch versions, OS updates, and instance size changes -- at least with multi-AZ. Perhaps it works for RDS clustering or Aurora? Also wouldn't recommend the new blue-green switch over yet. It fails safe yet when it goes sideways it can take a while to clean up.
