Where do you think the term daily grind comes from. People used to grind their wheat everyday and then use it for cooking/baking.

- LeafItAlone 3y ago> Where do you think the term daily grind comes from. People used to grind their wheat everyday and then use it for cooking/baking. I’m confused. Are you trying to refute their statement? Or just throwing out a tangential information?
- Whoppertime 3y agoThe daily grind is you manually processing the wheat at the cost of your own labour.
- obmelvin 3y agoAlmost no one does that though, so I'm confused as to the point you are trying to make? Even the people who do make their own bread usually don't grind their own wheat.
- anfilt 3y agoI was just saying you could use a little time to get flour. It does not have to be money. An other thing I could mention is wheat berries are common ingredient in soup. Just cause it has not been processed does not mean it's useless.
