> Not using or recognizing the design system as an internal source of truth. My experience has been that engineers and designers try, but can't do so. New projects tend not to be fully covered by the design system. This is almost tautological. New things are new. Yes, maybe they thought about what they want calendars to look like, but only for the case of picking a date, not displaying a weekly schedule. At one company this meant they kept gluing new things onto the design system, and at another company it meant we met with them every release and got told not to worry about it.
