One part of the patriarchy I can't stand is its love for loud and big vehicles. Since the primary users are also disproportionately represented in government, and regulation against them is extremely unpopular with constituents, we see a never ending arms race.
Buying stuff like this is such a copout for assuaging your insecurities. You don't even have to put in work like going to the gym, risk your health with a physical fight, or make yourself appealing and attract a partner. You can just pull out your wallet and have a free pass to get attention by being a dangerous jerk to everyone around you for years to come.
- galaxyLogic 3y agoSome men wear hidden insoles. Women too wear high heels. Those serve the same purpose with less ecological impact of course.
- whelp_24 3y agoThat's not what that word means. Unless you think that it's impossible to actually like a big truck and that personal likes are some sort of legal structure that hurts women specifically.
