A lot of people don't get that the Ozone layer and climate change (the greenhouse effect) are different things. Freon is both a very powerful greenhouse gas, and it destroys the ozone layer. Since Freon and other CFCs were banned, the Ozone layer has been mostly coming back, but climate change is still happening because of the other greenhouse gases.
