- rob74 3y agoOk, the brand is (or was) known more under the acronym AEG (at least in Germany/Europe, probably not in the US), not sure if everyone was aware of what the acronym stood for however. I just mentioned the full name first because it explains how the author of the article arrived at the translation "General Electric Corporation"...
