This doesn't mean very much to me without an explanation of what the actual progress has been. For example, has level 4 autonomy been achieved?
- Mashimo 3y agoI think Mercedes is the only one who has level 3 on the road. And only in certain areas on certain roads. It's all very limited. level 4 will probably take some time.
- calderknight 3y agoSo he said in 2021 that >FSD will be capable of Level 5 autonomy by the end of 2021 Even though they hadn't achieved level 3 or 4? And still haven't two years later?
- Mashimo 3y agoI just searched a bit and it seems waymo is considered level 4. You just can't buy the cars as consumers. And from a consumer point of view, Tesla pilot is more capable than the one from mercedes. But legally you can take the hands and eyes of the road on the Mercedes.
