Financial optimism linked to lower cognitive ability
- cc101 3y agoI wonder if unrealistic optimism leads some people to accept the risks of pursuing careers in politics, and if this unrealistic optimism inversely correlates with cognitive ability? This certainly seems to relate to the numbers of politically naive people in Congress.
- I_Am_Nous 3y agoA lot of people are sure they'll win the lottery eventually. Far more than ever will. I wonder how much this tips the scales for why people were optimistic about their financial future.
